Introducing Mingara Relay TV - a live stream event with all of the best parts of Relay For Life. The Survivor & Carer celebration, Hope ceremony, Live entertainment plus an old school telethon with some super special guests!
Who’s up for a good old fashioned telethon? We had an awesome time with Relay for Life Mingara last year. The organisers loved us so much they’ve asked us to get involved in their streaming event in November.
They’ll be crossing to us throughout the event for 3 min segments while we pretend to operate the call lines accepting fundraising donations. There will also be an end of event close that we'll be involved in somehow.
We're also opening the event to some non-SW characters for some additional interest/variety for the telethon viewers.
IMPORTANT COVID-19 NOTE!
This will be a Covid safe event. You WILL be required to follow these rules. If you can’t DO NOT sign up:
* This event is NOT open to the public - it’s a televised/streamed event filmed in a warehouse studio
* There will be plenty of space in the change room, but we may need to monitor usage
* Must observe social distancing guidelines
* Appropriate medical masks strongly advised
* Helmeted characters preferred. Face characters MUST wear masks.
* Do NOT attend if you’re feeling unwell or have a chronic illness
* The organiser will be capturing names and contact details on their C-19 register
* NO HUGGING
Depending on the number of responses, we may need to cap numbers. I’ll be scouting out the venue early and will advise on any changes as necessary.
