Description: The National Cherry Festival is an iconic event held in the town of Young annually for the last 70 years. Due to COVID, in 2020 and 2021 the event has been cancelled. We are keen to deliver some activity for our community to enjoy and to mark the annual Cherry Season. We will be holding a mini street fair on the evening of Friday December 3 in the main street with late night shopping and a range of activities and attractions for families to enjoy. It would be fantastic to have some of your members mingling in the crowd, available for photo's with people and meeting and greeting people. Happy for other activities to be undertaken and would be guided by you. We can also provide overnight accommodation for your members on Friday night.
