Description: whom it may concern, I am writing to seek your attendance to the 2019 ACT Holden Day. The event is to be held on Sunday the 29th of September 2019 and will be hosted jointly by a number of the Holden Car Clubs in the ACT. Owners of all Holden models are invited to enter and, based on past ACT Holden Days, we are expecting over 500 vehicles spanning more than 60 years of Holden production. ACT Holden Day Like its counterparts in other states, this event provides the opportunity for owners of all Holden models to put their pride and joy on display and socialize with fellow enthusiasts. For the serious restorer/enthusiast, the judging and prizes are another major attraction. Held in a central and highly visible location, the event is one that promotes widespread interest in the vehicles and encourages the public’s attendance to view the display and meet with the owners, sponsors, and traders. Whilst this is a fantastic event for motoring enthusiasts, we are also raising much needed funds for local charities. Last year we were able to raise and donate over $8,000 to which we would like to achieve again this year. Why we would like you to be involved. We are approaching you in the hope that you would welcome an opportunity to support to the ACT Holden Day to help make the event even bigger and better than the last and to help in the plight to raise much needed funds for those in need.As this is a charity event to help raise funds we would love it if you could attend.
