As soon as I turned 16 I donated blood every time I was eligible. I managed to donate a gallon and a half, then had to stop due to a stubborn case of the gay.

With the recent rule changes, I'm now able to donate plasma. So tonight was donation #1, 880mL.

Part of being 501st is donating our time to the Community while donning costumes of the Star Wars world. The Southern Cross Garrison takes this idea to an extra level of donation by highlighting active Members who chose to donate blood and plasma while wearing all or part of their approved costume. Inspired by the Flagship Eclipse, we encourage members to participate in this ongoing blood drive, by tracking the total number of donations made and sharing with members. We will be looking into a commemorative 'blood member' merchandise item to recognise those members who have actively donated, or been present during a donation (for those who cannot donate).

HOW TO TRACK YOUR DONATIONS

You head to www.lifeblood.com.au to make a booking to donate blood or plasma in your local area. 

During your donation, take a selfie or a photo in a Garrison Shirt or in costume - that donation can then be shared in your own post in this sub-forum, and you can track your donations. 

Create a thread with the title: USERNAME: TKID (Donation #)

This way you can update your thread with total number of donations tracked as you add additional photos.
